Early childhood development is fundamental to the growth of your child
At InterKids, children are coached in all aspects of early childhood development in order to become positive, creative, confident and enthusiastic but critical thinkers, knowing how to behave. They will not only gain the necessary knowledge to enter any primary school with confidence and ease, but also to continue to develop LIFE SKILLS that will impact their future growth.
Cognitive Development
Young children are not only growing physically during early childhood, but they are also growing mentally. Children of this age continue to advance their skills in observing and interacting with the world around them. They also make tremendous leaps in how they process, store, and use information.
Social Emotional Development
This refers to the skills to build healthy relationships, express needs, wishes and opinions and develop a healthy concept of personal identity. It helps children deal with new environments, facilitates the development of supportive relationships with peers and adults, and supports their ability to participate in learning activities.
Language Development
Language development is among the most important challenges of the first five years of a child’s life. Specific language skills in early childhood are predictive of later success in learning to read and write. Also, children who are skilled communicators are more likely to demonstrate social competence. Our Bi-lingual programs advance both Vietnamese and English skills in an intense but natural way.
